“Inspired by the adventure and imagination that we love from classic science-fiction,
No Man’s Sky presents you with a galaxy to explore, filled with unique planets and lifeforms,
and constant danger and action.

In No Man’s Sky, every star is the light of a distant sun, each orbited by planets filled
with life, and you can go to any of them you choose. Fly smoothly from deep space to planetary
surfaces, with no loading screens, and no limits. In this infinite procedurally generated universe,
you’ll discover places and creatures that no other players have seen before – and perhaps never will again.”

* Unending Gameplay (I already have DAYS invested and have barely scratched the surface)
* Intriguing main story line
* Multiple “Side Story”/Quests/Missions (O SO MANY!)
* Story line/quests are not all necessary to game play
* Play how you want – there are no set “classes”
* Development team continually updating and “issue patching”
* Single or Multiplayer
* Tech and crafting trees are DEEP (with more being added frequently)
* Personalize your Universe (name/re-name planets, bases, solar systems, etc)

* Unending Gameplay (Yes this is a “con as well” – The hours invested in this game rival those I have spent on Civilization and Minecraft)
* While it is available across multiple platforms – you cannot “play” across platforms
* Planets can seem redundant (until you actually examine each planet – and find out they really aren’t)
* The learning curve is STEEP (at first – it gets better the longer you play)
* PC: This game is definitely designed with “controller in mind” – play with keyboard and mouse is truly cumbersome (at best).
* Price point – for a game that was released years ago for the PS4 – the price point for the PC/XBox is a bit steep. (CAVEAT: This version comes with all the previous expansions – so – there’s that)

Game-play Features:
* Procedurally Generated Open Universe (18 Quintillion planets is the claim!)
* Play as you want – Want to be a smuggler? Do it! Want to be an Explorer? Do it! Want to be a Smuggling Explorer? (You get the picture)
* Have friends jump into your universe (or not). Work together (or separately).
* Play the story line (or don’t) – it is really up to you!

Recommendations: If you were a fan of StarFlight, Elite, Civ, Minecraft – think of all of these rolled into one game (without the Minecraft block graphics). If you enjoyed any (or all) of these games – I highly recommend this game for you.
WARNING: Be prepared to lose hours/days to game play!
